Starting on August 6, 2025, the Clinton County Foundation online portals for grant and scholarship applications will have a new look.  The “New Applicant Dashboard” is mostly aesthetic and will improve the applicant experience.

Importantly, this update will not change where you login to complete a scholarship or grant application or the content of the applications. However, when you login to your account, it will look much different. Some notable changes include collapsable columns with your organization’s request history and columns with open applications. The open applications will be divided between those that have action required – such as a Follow-Up, and ones that currently do not have any required actions. Here is an example:

The colors are also intentional and meant to draw a user’s attention to specific areas. For instance, the Yellow items have actions that are due within two weeks. The Red items are for actions that are past due. Other updates include:

  • The Action Needed column displays any forms that are due.
  • The No Action column displays forms that do not need further action from the applicant as administrators process the request.
    • A ribbon icon will appear next to approved requests.
  • The Completed column displays requests that have been approved and have had all follow ups marked complete.
  • The Historical column displays requests from the applicant that have been closed, denied, or abandoned.

This will provide a more intuitive way to manage your applications, their Follow-Ups, and evaluations.

To Do and Action Items

Another useful change is the “To-Do” side panel. This panel will appear to the right of the columns pictured above. This panel will have a tab for items “Assigned to You,” and one for “Upcoming.” This will help applicants easily see and access items that need to be completed. Below is what those panels will look like to users:

These changes will go live on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 for all users. This update has been tested extensively and been used by other organizations prior to this date so we don’t anticipate “bugs” in the update. The Foundation also encourages all applicants to review Foundant’s tutorial at this link here and click the “New Applicant Dashboard” dropdown.

As always, if you have any questions, concerns, or need assistance with an application or Follow-Up, please reach out to staff. The Foundation’s Program Associate, Benjamin Collings can be reached at 937-566-1846 or benjamin@clintoncountyohiofoundation.org.
