News/Events / Executive Director Retiring in November
Clinton County Foundation board and friends,
I am retiring as executive director for the Clinton County Foundation on November 1, 2021. When I was hired in 2015, I promised to stay with the Foundation for five years—and I had specific goals that I wanted to accomplish within that timeframe. In August, it will be six years and I have met most of my goals—the last one should be realized sometime before the end of the year.
My last day of work will be October 31-unless there is a reason to stay beyond that time, so please accept this letter as my notice of resignation.
I know that my resignation may cause some change, and hope to assist in any way I can in preparing/training your next executive director.
Early this year, I realized you were at the right moment for the Foundation to find your next executive director—as you are ready for this—I want you to grow to $50 million in assets and that can be accomplished with the right person.
I am truly grateful for all of the great experience and opportunities I have gained by working at the Clinton County Foundation. I will miss all of the excitement and fun of developing this amazing organization. I will miss this board and all those that came before you. I appreciate the cooperation of everyone and hope that my future experiences will go as smoothly.
I wish everyone at the Clinton County Foundation every success and thank you for your understanding. Ed and I will leave the community—we are leaving because we will be closer to our family and look forward to spending many happy hours with them.
