The Clinton County Foundation is a nationally accredited community foundation that emphasizes education, health and wellness, and economic development in our region. The Foundation’s board recognizes that charitable giving is the most direct and effective investment that can be made to build a thriving, resilient community. An important part of this is nurturing connections between people and groups to magnify contributions and bring out the best in Clinton County.
We offer charitable investment and grants to local nonprofits who are making a lasting and positive impact on our community. Over the past five years, we have worked hard to strengthen our community foundation. As a result, our organization has grown significantly over the last five years, with current assets exceeding $49 million. The board wants to continue to grow and develop the foundation, with the assistance of those in the community who would like to help us and the County succeed.
Annually, the board reaches out to the community seeking individuals who are interested in serving the Clinton County Foundation Board of Trustees. Our values of community spirit, respect, excellence, and inclusion are central to our work, and our outreach is one way we can demonstrate commitment to those values. The board is seeking experienced community-minded individuals who are inspired to serve and strengthen Clinton County. We are seeking individuals who represent Clinton County and hope that you might consider being a board member. A board member’s term is three years long with up to two additional terms. The Board meets approximately six times a year, and members sit on at least one committee that meets as needed.
