The Vallee Fund for Blanchester was established through the generosity of Richard and Shirley Vallee, longtime members of the Blanchester community who wanted to create a lasting legacy for the place they called home. Dr. Richard Vallee, a chemist and plant manager at the Mound, and Shirley Vallee were married for 58 years and shared a deep connection to Blanchester.
Today, their legacy continues through project-based funding designed to strengthen the community and improve the lives of its residents. The Vallee Fund supports transformative ideas and creative programs serving the Blanchester area, with an
emphasis on projects that improve community well-being and address local needs.
The Clinton County Foundation is honored to partner with the Vallee Fund for Blanchester to preserve Richard and Shirley Vallees’ legacy and support projects that make a lasting difference in the Blanchester community. Visit our Nonprofit page to learn more about this and other grants available.
